Most knit hats are knit in a spiral, either from the bottom up or the top down. I wanted to see if I could extend this idea to spiral more than one yarn at a time. The result reminds me of my favorite restaurant’s white & dark chocolate fondue, right when you begin to swirl the two chocolates together.

Size: Fits an average adult’s head (23″) snugly

Materials:

  • 2 skeins of Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande (110 yds / 101 m, 3.5 oz / 100 g; 100% baby alpaca), one in MC and one in CC. You’ll only use ~50 yds from each skein.
  • US 10.5 (6.5mm) 16″ circular or double-pointed needles
