Cherokee Hill

Cherokee Hill socks

In the neighborhood where I grew up, the best sledding hill is behind Cherokee Middle School. There’s a steep hill to start down, a flat area to coast across, and—if the snow and your speed are just right—you might make it to the second hill that slopes down to the playground. The dual swaths of cables on this sock were inspired by the two-tiered hill where I had my fair share of wintertime wipeouts.
